Who this policy covers

This policy describes how Bangkok Automation (operating at bangkokautomation.ai) collects and uses personal data when you visit the website, submit the contact form, or book a call. Bangkok Automation is a Thailand-based service. The policy is written with the Thailand Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) in mind and applies regardless of where you are located when you contact us.

What we collect, and why

The site collects two categories of personal data, and only when you choose to share it.

Contact form submissions. When you fill in the form on the contact page, we receive your name, email address, company name (optional), and the message you write. We use that information to reply to your enquiry and to follow up on the conversation. The form is processed by Formspree, which forwards the submission to our inbox.

Booking data. When you book a call through the calendar widget, the booking flow collects your name, email address, optional notes, and the time slot you select. That data is processed by Cal.com so the call can be scheduled and reminders sent.

Beyond those two flows, the site does not run analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. Standard server-side request logs (IP address, browser type, time of request) may be retained briefly by the hosting provider for security and operational purposes.

Lawful basis for processing

Under PDPA, we rely on the following lawful bases:

• Consent. When you submit the contact form or book a call, you are consenting to us using the information you provide to respond to your enquiry.
• Legitimate interest. Brief retention of operational logs by the hosting provider, used only for security and reliability.

Who else processes your data

We use the following third-party processors. Each one has its own privacy policy, linked below.

Some of these processors are based outside Thailand, which means your information is transferred across borders during normal use of the site. We have selected providers with established privacy practices and clear processor terms, and we do not share your data with anyone outside this list for marketing purposes.

How long we keep your data

Contact form submissions and email correspondence are retained while your enquiry is active and for a reasonable period afterward (typically up to 24 months) so that we can pick up follow-up conversations. Booking data is retained according to Cal.com's standard retention. You can ask us to delete any of this at any time.

Your rights under PDPA

Thailand's PDPA gives you a set of rights over your personal data. These include:

• The right to access the personal data we hold about you.
• The right to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
• The right to ask us to delete your data, subject to any obligations we have to retain it.
• The right to withdraw consent for ongoing processing.
• The right to object to processing for marketing purposes (we do not do this, but the right exists).
• The right to lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Committee in Thailand.

Cookies

The site itself does not set tracking cookies. The Cal.com booking widget and Formspree contact form may set functional cookies needed for the booking and submission flows to work correctly. No advertising or analytics cookies are used.

Security

Data in transit is protected by HTTPS across the entire site. The processors listed above operate their own security controls, which are described in their respective privacy and security pages.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, the updated version is posted here with a new "last updated" date. Substantive changes that affect how your information is used will be reflected before any new processing begins.
